Each cheek a river running from a fount
Pine Entertainment has released its city-building tapper Century City. Which means your lives should be on halt momentarily.

As we covered last week, Century City really sucks you into its loop of mining gold, spending it on new buildings and upgrades, and repeat.

It's easy to play, has vivid pixel art that sees everything popping out at you, and never has a dull moment - there's always something to do.

And that might be beating mini-quests, spinning reels in a casino, or chasing achievements to earn.

There's a lot to do, a lot to unlock, and requires a lot of your time. So, due to its engaging hook, you might want to lay off it if you have something important to do.

Otherwise, go right ahead and sink as far as you're willing into another incremental building game. That is, presuming you're finished with Bitcoin Billionaire and AdVenture Capitalist already.

You can download Century City for free on the App Store right now.

We've covered Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower a few times here on Pocket Gamer since it was announced all the way back in February. We've recently learned that it will be heading for iOS and Android on September 3rd, so just a mere two weeks away.

To further whet the appetites, developer Perchang has released a 3-minute video today that shows off a bunch of details for their upcoming turn-based strategy title. You can check that out in the trailer below where you'll be able to see more gameplay and catch a few story tidbits as well. It's also a good opportunity to check out some of the different classes and their abilities.

There are quite a lot of people who grew fond of Zero Escape's weird and deranged world. Much like DanganRonpa or other Japanese games that involve teenagers killing each other, it focuses a lot on its cast of characters and how they interact with each other.

That's what the latest trailer is all about as it introduces each of the contest in what should be a game that brings answers to all of your remaining questions.
The developers have changed the controls slightly, and now buttons appear if necessary. The symbols are marked with a graphical symbol so that the player can navigate quickly. The graphics and sound are at a high level.
MERCURY ONCE DETERMINED to learn in what esteem he was held among mortals. For this purpose he assumed the character of a man and visited in this disguise a Sculptor's studio having looked at various statues, he demanded the price of two figures of Jupiter and Juno. When the sum at which they were valued was named, he pointed to a figure of himself, saying to the Sculptor, "You will certainly want much more for this, as it is the statue of the Messenger of the Gods, and author of all your gain." The Sculptor replied, "Well, if you will buy these, I'll fling you that into the bargain."Pastel Avatar: Magical Pastel Dress up(Unlimited coins) MOD APKDragon X Adventure Mod Dragon X Adventure 1.0.4 MOD Unlimited Gold Features:Unlimited Gold Play the most EXCITING game on the Play Store.
Wargroove looks bloody good - both aesthetically and in terms of gameplay. With the world clamouring for a new Advance Wars for years now, it's fair to say there's a lot of hype around it. Instead, we want to pick out games we know you'll love, or at least the ones that are big and important, alongside a few of the smaller games you may not have seen yet.

And we'll try to hit as many genres as we can, so there should be something here for everyone. But don't get mad if there's nothing you like! We are at the whims of the publishers and developers just like you.

So, grab yourself a cuppa, get your Switch, and let's dig in and see what new games you can get for yourself this week. You never know, your next favourite game of all time may be hiding amongst our list. And be sure to comment if you find something which you do decide to pick up - we'd love to hear what's taken your fancy this week.Wargroove

Price: $19.99/£15.99

Official Description: "Take to the battlefield with Wargroove, a turn-based strategy game for up to 4 players! Choose your Commander and wage war on battling factions, using your ‘groove’ to strategically sway the fight in your favor!

When war breaks out in the Kingdom of Cherrystone, the young Queen Mercia must flee her home. Pursued by her foes, the only way to save her kingdom is travel to new lands in search of allies. But who will she meet along the way, and what sinister challenges will she face?"

The Battle Of Polytopia is one of our favourite all-time mobile strategy games. It launched in 2016 from Swedish indie outfit Midjiwan, who steadily rolled out updates throughout 2017. It's a premium experience that's genuinely been free to play all this time – there's DLC to buy if you want to expand the game but you don't have to – and if you've been waiting to get on board, next week could be the tipping point.Y'see, the long-mythologised multiplayer update is landing on Thursday 15th February 2018.

As our columnist Susan Arendt explained earlier this month, The Battle Of Polytopia is a cute Civilization-like explore-and-battle game. But it's been a single-player experience for most, with the option to pass your device and play with a friend being the only way to test your tactical skill against an opponent.

The game has picked up a dedicated following, with many of them noisily lamenting the lack of online multiplayer on social media.
Midjiwan, please what happened to “the multiplayer will be released in the first week of 2018?” Its been a week :(— Sammy Chaer (@SamIsInTheGame) January 8, 2018 Well, here it comes. "The online multiplayer is the biggest update for The Battle of Polytopia," explains Midjiwan in an official statement. "It is by far the most requested feature from players. Midjiwan has listened and worked very closely with the fan community since the beginning of Polytopian time. So players on both iOS and Android can connect and play online around the universe. Polytopians can finally unite!"

This has been met with understandable joy on the Twitters.
I’m so happy for this news :)— Angelique du Tour (@AngeliqueTour) January 15, 2018
Yay! Can't wait :)— Jennifer S. (@JenniferDSC) February 9, 2018
Great news. Can't wait to play it in multiplayer :) keep it up.— Zapo (@zapoVic) January 23, 2018 So, what is this game anyway?

Polytopia is a turn-based Civlization-style game with a colourful, toy-like aesthetic. The mission is simple (total domination) and it's streamlined so that you can play through the entire tech tree in one sitting if you know what you're doing. The tribes are not based on real nations, but all have their own personalities. The Viking-like Bardur, for instance, ride bears into battle, harvest pine trees and blueberries for resources, and live amid snow-capped mountains.Maps are autogenerated each time so every play through presents a different challenge. You could play for free for years, but you only get four tribes – if you want more options, more tilesets and different soundtracks, you can buy up to eight more tribes as affordable DLC packages.
Deserved, probably the best F2P 4X mobile game at the moment.— Vitality_Azure (@VitalityAzure) January 2, 2018 As of February 2018 it's had five million downloads and boasts 80,000 daily active players. It was awarded an IMGA award in 2017 and was a runner-up in the Google Play Indie Games Awards 2017. "Multiplayer will allow friends around the globe to fight each other online," confirms Midjiwan, adding another layer of strategic fun to the mix. Pocket Gamer has also given it more than one shout-out. For more info and tips there's an active semi-official fan site.
Can you beat Pocket Gamer?
Because we're having so much fun playing this game – and because our boss Chris basically thinks he is the best at it – we're planning a Pocket Gamer Battle Of Polytopia tournament for the end of the month.
Slay the Spire is a highly anticipated title on mobile. The indie darling has been heading to phones for what seems like an eternity but a good port takes time. Developer Anthony Giovannetti recently tweeted that we could expect some news within the next thirty days and true to his promise, we now know a little more.

It's not a solid release date just yet, more an announcement of an announcement, with a post on the game's Steam Community page stating the release date would likely be unveiled at the Guerrilla Collective Show on June 6th. It does, however, confirm that it will arrive for iOS devices this month.

Meanwhile, there was an update on the Android version of the game too. The team confirmed that they are still working on it however, it's not at a stage where they can speculate when it will be released. So sadly, Android users will have to wait a little longer for their card-based roguelike fix.

They've also shared some screenshots of how the game will look on iOS, which you can see in this article. Beyond that, they've also confirmed that the game will cost $9.99 and will be the same experience as on the PC, minus mods, of course.

Not too long for wait for Apple users then but for those on Android who are still looking for a Slay the Spire fix can always pick up the game on Switch or PC. If you'd rather wait for the mobile version though, we've created a list of games that draw some influence from Slay the Spire that you can try in the meantime.

Slay the Spire will be heading for the App Store at some stage this month and Android at a later date. Whenever it does happen to release it will be a premium title that costs $9.99.
Interested in more upcoming games? Here are some of the best that are currently in soft-launch
